Job 7:11

In this season of doors closing and opening, it feels like my head is on a swivel. Everything feels like an ISA 22:22 “door”. Connection upon connection is both beautiful and similar to playing “memory jenga”.

Jesus holds EVERYTHING together, including me.

MySpace Memories converge with Our Gracie and BJJ Gracie’s, Jiu-Jitsu Wilderness, my 40 year NEHS reunion planning and everything else. Everything feels super-connected. Just this morning, I saw a post from 12 years ago from My Chrissie.

Thank you, Jesus, for My Chrissie. I know she is YOURS.

Yesterday, the best thing on my human brain would have been to sleep in after the week I experienced. That was NOT God’s plan. Instead, I needed to get up early to take Mark to pick up his vehicle. Despite feeling “off”, I went to One Nation Jiu-Jitsu and experienced great teaching. All in all, a stellar day, capped off with watching Tracker and another show with my husband. We went to bed early and I slept deeply.

Around 5 am, the Holy Spirit was nudging me back to Joe Rogan Episode #2358. “What did he actually say—-check the transcript”. Sometime during the last two weeks, I know I had already done this. So, I searched my photos for the screenshot “receipts”.

Luke 2:48 is a bridge…Jesus before 13 💜✝️💜

It’s not my first early morning rodeo with the Holy Spirit. That said, it is the first time I can recall being spurred further to see what I missed. Because, quite frankly, Jesus wasn’t happy with the receipt I kept on my phone. So, I searched that episode number on YouTube and was stopped dead in my tracks.

It also explains to me why WILDERNESS was attached to Jiu-jitsu—-without me ever fully knowing why.

Luke 2:51 💜✝️💜Obedience

After He started buzzing around my brain, I had two of the best hours of sleep possible. When I woke, I grabbed my Bible and flipped. I am meeting Miss Dottie to drop off her order before going to see Miss Becky and getting my hair cut.

I have the option of a leisurely day but MUCH to get accomplished. Best option for me is to ground my day in His Word. What fascinated me was learning most of the notes were from May 2025 onward.

Job or “JOBE” like my MySpace Friend —-now a pastor

At first glance, all I could do was wrestle with the vapor of 5/30/25, 7/27/35 @Casa Mull #ISWYDT, and “lingering” on 8/12/35. Almost instantly, it was contrasted against notes from 11/4/2018, “ Lord, teach me where and how I have been wrong so I may learn and be better reflection of you “

The note from 11/25/18, “Lord, please humble me and teach me why you brought me here again today.

He had me wrote those notes SEVEN years ago for His good purpose. Not shocking to me was to see the red marker used on 7/27/25 —- the same day I made a Romans 8:28 note. Maybe it’s only funny if you know my habit of enlarging font when He makes a point. Romans 8:28 is actually in the study notes. For me to “write it down” larger is an inside joke, so to speak.

What stands out now are the green highlights from today—fresh, alive, and unmistakably present.

They don’t erase what came before; they build on it. It feels like God is saying, “ You learned what you needed then —-I’m teaching you something new. The same Scripture, the same voice—but a deeper invitation. Not to revisit old pain, but to recognize growth, and to keep learning with an open heart.

I see what He did there…relationship with Him is a whole lot like Jiu-Jitsu. The GrandMaster keeps showing off for The BPC in Tennessee.—-and I am ever-so-grateful. Good heavens, I don’t deserve it—-but boy, oh boy, am I grateful.

Thank you, Jesus.

Small Group Prayer

Today was exceptionally spirit filled and beautiful. I even did a cartwheel in the late afternoon and shared the silliness on our Community Vapor Facebook page.

This, all because I received a call which absolutely set me off. It was uncomfortable and painful to be that angry. I reached for our Fruit of the Spirit Bible and asked God to teach me something. Anything. Get me out of myself and my anger.

He took me straight to Job 36:16. Of course I did cartwheels all afternoon! Search My God Room for “woo” and perhaps it will make more sense.

Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for wooing me, loving me and saving me. I didn’t deserve it.

Praise Report

For a project given to me by the spirit weeks ago, it has now been officially rebuilt from scratch for the THIRD TIME!

My girls, Morgan and Lyss, visited and let me complete the project. It exported to PDF and I took that little Zip drive to Staples.

Everything is printed on nice cardstock.

Tomorrow, I shall trim the sheets and bind them by my prayer-filled hands.

Thank you, Jesus. You really wanted this gift to be given to Master Luiz, ONJJ and the BJJ community. Please prepare the hearts of those who receive it for ONJJ , Pedro and Master Perez. Thank you for staying on my back and holding me close. I love, love, LOVE you.

Holy Patterns and Presence

I just posted “I See What You Did There #ISWYDT and brought lunch to my husband. Sitting in the shop, I am being completely dazzled by the realization we are approaching three years since the Holy Spirit visited me in Blue Ridge Georgia on 2/3/23.

I just googled and confirmed it was the first Friday of February. The first Friday in February is also National Wear Red Day (heart disease in women) and National Bubblegum Day.

I have survived 57 years of not knowing about either of those First Friday remembrances. I am far more drawn to study First Fruits like Easy Torah explains in this link .

Heaven help me, I can’t locate the story in My God Room. Okay, breathe in “Yah”. Hold. Exhale on “Weh”, slowly. Repeat.

The shortest version possible is that I was on a mission to complete the Boss Mull Family Book, The Holy Spirit planted a powerful seed when I took my husband to Blue Ridge in December 2022. I was nudged hard to correct errors on Ancestry.com and similar sites and provide every family member an accurate digital book of our extended family.

Uncle Dan never celebrated his 57th Birthday.

My assignment was to trace all twelve branches and get approval from the eldest in each branch before sharing the project results. This particular trip was for final edits. I made arrangements to stay at my cousin Marcia &Doug’s home, followed by two nights at Don & Jode’s.

Their dad, Dan Mull, was shot and killed August 20, 1975. I had my dad with me another 34 years before he also went to heaven on August 20, 2009.

I just realized ten days later, my cousins are reminded they lost their brother, Roger, August 30,2001.

Grateful in this moment for Facebook. Something about re-reading the post took me right back to Don & Jode’s guest room. I remember questioning the compulsion to go to my car and grab my Bible. It was late and my cousin has roughly 17 years on me. In my flesh, I would NEVER risk setting off an alarm or waking up such gracious hosts.

Yet, when the Holy Spirit told me to “put on your boots” and trek out to my car in the freezing cold, I was obedient.

What transpired for the next few hours was beyond other-worldly.

That morning’s words—Revival, Redemption, Reconciliation—became a thread that pulls through every “23:23” verse in Scripture.

This is like PTSD in reverse. I am back in their guest room, completely undone in the best of ways. I pray that makes sense to even one person reading this post.

Across the pages of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Matthew, a hidden rhythm emerges:

He goes before.
He speaks.
He protects.
He holds us accountable.
He honors courage.
He values truth.
He draws near.
He exposes betrayal.
He fulfills.

It is the same voice that said, “Go to your room.!!!”

Each “23:23” verse held confirmations of that night’s message. They are proof of divine repetition: God doesn’t just speak; He echoes through time.

Super powerful is the only 23:23 in the New Testament. In awe, I remain.

Together, they form a circle of Presence — the living message of 2/3/23—echoing to the recesses of my heart.

Thank you, Jesus! You put the pen in my shaky hand that night. Woe to the scribes and Pharisees, indeed. I see what you did there. #ISWYDT Or, more accurately, my vision continues to improve, thanks to you. I love you.

The River, The Tree and The Branch

This morning, the first word in my ear was “delta”. Wowza, what a lesson that was for me about my constant source! Seamlessly, the next place He took me was the connection He made for me in EZE 47:12 and REV 22:2 last year.

Talk about imagery! There’s a river that begins in the presence of God.

Ezekiel saw it first—water pouring out from beneath the threshold of the temple, turning salt water fresh, bringing life wherever it flowed.  He wrote,

Centuries later, John saw that same river—this time in the New Jerusalem, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

CONSIDER THE SOURCE, YESSIR!! #ISWYDT

Excuse me while I do a happy dance. I heard “consider the source” around March 2024. I only remember it because He tied the message to farm fresh eggs. Just that change to my earthly diet generated 26 pounds of weight loss. When people ask how I’ve lost so much weight, I can honestly say my diet was loaded with bread and water…from Coach Jesus. Praise God, it’s still about 96 pounds which has been circumcised from my body.

The nudges to consider the source of any given thing have been distinct. How did I not realize they were unique in their sameness? They are not identical. It’s a distinct nudge to allow Scripture to soak into me so deeply that it “geeks me out” a pinch.

Both prophets were describing the same thing:

God moving through creation, feeding and healing everything it touches.

And then Jesus said,

Suddenly the vision becomes personal.

That river doesn’t just run beside us—it runs through us.

The same life that flows from the throne now courses through the Vine, into the branches, out into the world.

We don’t generate it; we simply stay connected so it can keep flowing.

The plants, the oils, the leaves—every green thing—is part of that same design.

They don’t compete with the Healer; they reveal Him.

They remind us that His restoration still moves through the natural world, that grace is as tangible as sap in a stem.

So I sit here quietly, realizing:

I’m just a branch, but I know where the Source flows from.

And if I stay attached, the same living water that makes the leaves heal and the fruit nourish will keep moving through me too—

for His glory, and for the healing of others.

Thank you, Jesus!

Holy Harmony of 6:29

Sometimes the Lord weaves a thread so delicate you almost miss it — until He pulls it tight enough to show the pattern. Chapter 6, verse 29. Over and over again, in book after book, He whispers the same truth about community, unity, peace, and love.

Here’s the kicker. This is because He put an old MySpace memory clearly in my dreams and I wrote about it yesterday. In that post, there was a photo of a USA Weekend article from 2006 which mentions 629 people signed on to be a part of our Make a Difference Day “We Are One” project.

Always, always, ALWAYS, I check out any word or idea as it appears in the Bible. As giddy as I was with Exodus 6:29 being where God tells Moses to speak to Pharaoh, my spirit danced with 2 Chronicles 6:29.

Still, after exploring other 6:29’s in Leviticus, 1 Kings, Job and Jeremiah, I found myself far giddier with the New Testament 6:29 themes working together in such a mighty way.

In Matthew 6:29, Jesus points to the lilies — silent teachers dressed in glory beyond Solomon’s. They neither strive nor spin, yet they’re fully cared for. That’s peace. That’s the calm that settles when we trust our Father to clothe every need.

In Mark 6:29, the disciples of John gather his body and lay it in a tomb. It’s a verse of grief, yet it glows with loyalty and love — a community standing together even when hope feels buried.

In Luke 6:29, we’re told to turn the other cheek and hand over the tunic. It feels impossible until you realize He’s inviting us into radical love — the kind that refuses to let hatred multiply.

In John 6:29, Jesus defines the only real “work” worth doing: believe in the One He sent. Faith becomes the heartbeat that unites us all — not what we earn, but Whom we trust.

So, yes, my spirit does a little jig (and sometimes a cartwheel) in the Old Testament, because 2 Chronicles 6:29 gathers it all together in prayer: “Whatever prayer, whatever supplication … each knowing his own affliction … stretching out his hands toward this house.” It’s the picture of a people reaching upward together, bound by mercy, not perfection.

Across centuries and covenants, God keeps painting the same picture — His people resting, mourning, forgiving, believing, and praying together.

So if your heart is anxious, bruised, or tired of the noise, find your footing in the 6:29 thread.
Breathe with the lilies.
Stand beside the grieving.
Turn the other cheek.
Believe again.
Lift your hands with others.

That’s how Heaven’s harmony sounds — one body, one faith, one love.

And, just like THAT, I need to accept the nudge to send my “one love” Musician Matt, a little note of encouragement.

May you let the S-O-N S-H-I-N-E in, too. Oh, sweet Jesus, how could I ever thank you or praise you enough? I’ll keep “singing with the angels, 24-7”, as you encouraged me with “Monday Morning Faith” by SEU Worship. Thank you for how you write the melody in my life….and teach me YOUR WAY, Yahweh. What a blessing to feel in harmony with you.

Jesus Jiu-Jitsu

We finished watching the Joe Rogan episode with Chadd Wright this morning. It took another “three days to resurrect” the topic, as we are stupidly busy closing down one of our shops.

What a phenomenal second half of a show! I am grateful I was nudged to watch and listen with my husband. We paused the show a few times because we both had details to clarify. He now understands why I couldn’t stop picturing something holy and hilarious to me.

Jesus doing jiu-jitsu with a scarlet red belt.

Now before you laugh me off the mat, hear me out.

Despite much talk of aluminum and carbon bows, Navy Seals, two types of Land Rovers and more—-the only image of Jesus in my spirit is this one of Him preparing for jiu-jitsu.

It’s the kind of nudge that compels me to learn more about whatever topic I believe is being given by the Holy Spirit.

In jiu-jitsu, the goal isn’t to overpower your opponent with strength. In fact, the objective is to stay calm, keep your balance, use the attacker’s own momentum against him, and look for the moment to turn defense into victory.

And suddenly, I realized — that’s exactly what Jesus does with us… and for us. 💜✝️💜

The Ultimate Counter-Move

When the enemy came swinging in the wilderness (Matthew 4), Jesus didn’t meet force with force.

He met temptation with truth — quoting Scripture, redirecting every attack back toward its source until the devil had no footing left.

That’s spiritual jiu-jitsu:

The enemy lunges with pride, and Jesus answers with humility. The enemy strikes with fear, and Jesus counters with perfect love (1 John 4:18). The enemy chokes with accusation, and Jesus slips free with forgiveness (Romans 8:1).

He never panics.

He just pivots.

“Be Strong in the Lord…”

We don’t fight flesh and blood — we spar with lies, discouragement, and spiritual exhaustion. The best offense begins with a great defense. I’m not sure who said it first, but I hear it a ton from my hubby and son during football season.

The more time we spend on the mat with the Master, the more we learn His moves. The best defense is being grounded in His Word. What a precious reminder of the two-edged sword of truth.

He teaches us how to roll when life throws us down, how to breathe through the struggle, and how to come up standing again.

Turning the Enemy’s Weight

Romans 8:28 says,

That’s divine reversal — turning the enemy’s own weight into the very leverage that lifts us higher.

Every hardship, every insult, every test becomes another lesson in spiritual technique.

It’s not about aggression.

It’s about alignment — heart, spirit, and will positioned beneath His.

Training Notes from the Mat

Stay grounded — Know where your footing is (Ephesians 6:15). Breathe grace — Control your spirit before your circumstance (Proverbs 16:32). Use the Word — It’s your counter-move every single time (Matthew 4:4). Tap out pride — Strength made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Celebrate the win — Joy is the victory stance (Philippians 4:4).

Champion in Christ

I believe the best champions are those who get knocked down and keep training with their teachers or coaches.

In the Kingdom, even a takedown becomes testimony.

Every roll on the mat of faith makes us more like Him — calm under pressure, rooted in truth, quick to forgive, impossible to defeat.

I really need to sit with all the jiu-jitsu truth that the GrandMaster Jesus is beginning to teach me on new ways.

Yessir, Master of the Universe. It makes perfect sense the red belt can represent salvation and truth for many Biblical reasons. Still, it is no coincidence that only GrandMasters in jiu-jitsu wear red belts.

I see what you did there. #ISWYDT.

I utterly adore you for holding everything together, including me. Thank you for making my phone say JOY JITSU every time I was hunting jiu-jitsu factoids. You make learning , loving and EVERYTHING joyful. I love you. 💜✝️💜

Ezekiel 3

Ezekiel 3:1–3 (NKJV)

Hebrew Word Study should be joyful, as doing anything unto the Lord ought to be. I get especially giddy when I get to deep dive and find so much treasure. How fun to look back to other posts about Ezekiel and see how He grows us from the inside out.

The Hebrew words in this passage add depth to what Ezekiel was truly experiencing:

Eat — אָכַל (’akal) Means to consume, to internalize, to take into oneself completely.

God wasn’t asking Ezekiel to sample His Word but to become one with it — to let it fill his entire being until it was inseparable from who he was.

Scroll — מְגִלָּה (megillah) Rooted in גלל (galal) meaning “to roll up” or “to unfold.”

A megillah holds hidden revelation waiting to be unrolled. When Ezekiel eats it, it symbolizes the unveiling of divine mysteries — revelation that must be digested before it can be declared.

Honey — דְּבַשׁ (debash) Symbol of sweetness, delight, and the richness of divine truth.

God’s Word can confront, correct, and refine — yet in its essence, it is always sweet to those who love truth.

Belly/Stomach — מֵעֶה (me‘eh) Refers to the inner parts, the seat of emotion and compassion.

God’s command to “fill your stomach” means: Let My Word reach your deepest self — the place where feelings, faith, and discernment reside.

God’s Word is not meant to rest on our lips; it is meant to live in our gut. Maybe, just maybe, scripture should always be more than something we quote — it’s something we digest.

Oh, how I have always been drawn to Ezekiel!

There’s always been something about Ezekiel — my buddy Zeke — that pulls on my spirit. Maybe it’s because he didn’t just hear God’s Word; he ate it. He let it become part of him, shaping not only his message but his metabolism of truth.

Three years ago, I should have died falling down twelve stairs in our home. But instead of taking me home, God took hold of me. He began a holy detox — peeling away layer by layer of what had been dulling my spirit.

First, He silenced the noise — the news, the politics, the music that wasn’t feeding my soul. Then He began healing my body: no more fake sugars, no more processed foods. He taught me to consider the source — even down to something as simple as an egg. Farm fresh, real, whole — as He intended.

With that obedience came transformation.

Through intermittent fasting and His wisdom, I’ve lost over ninety-five pounds — but more than that, I’ve lost the heaviness that once separated me from His presence.

Now, as I digest His Word daily, I can feel life rising within me — literally, physically, emotionally, spiritually.

Like Ezekiel, I’ve tasted the scroll. It is sweet as honey in my mouth, filling me with truth that brings wholeness and peace. And though sometimes His correction can taste bitter at first, it always becomes nourishment for my soul.

When you let God feed you, you begin to crave only what’s real.

And in that sacred hunger, healing begins.

The Word becomes health to all your flesh and honey to your heart.

Oh, sweet Jesus! I just had “bee lessons” and “past buzzing” come to heart. #ISWYDT. Honey! How could I ever thank you enough? Excited to see how you help me set the table and invite others to feast on The Word together.

Sister Pam

On July 4th, Pam Bacani shared on Facebook that she had been baptized again—ten years after her first baptism. She went to a Kayla Gabbard “Meet Me in the Water” event and I caught her post. Her testimony of growth resonated with me on a deep level. While out of my fleshly comfort zone, I messaged her privately and extended an open invitation to be our guest in Tennessee.

More than two months later, she replied and offered to send me two books she had written. It was such a an unexpected offer and I was at peace giving her our home address.

Arriving home last night, I was tickled to see a box with her return address. When I opened the books, she had written: “May He woo you to Himself and hold you close as you seek to rest…”

The word WOO stopped me in my tracks—because just the day before, I had written about the many ways God woos us. I sent her a note and shared that post. This morning, I woke to a lovely voice message which served as “double confirmation” that confirmation works both ways!

God promises, “I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams ron the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring” (Isaiah 44:3). And Paul reminds us that “God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit” (Romans 5:5).

It reminded me of Genesis 8:4–5, when after the flood, the ark came to rest, and three months later the mountain tops appeared as the waters abated.

Since May 8, it has felt like a flood—God pouring so much through me at once, overwhelming and unstoppable. But now, the waters are receding, the peaks are coming into view, and I can see more of where He is leading.

What God has done here is remarkable: in His timing, He not only pours out but also draws us in, wooing us closer, and letting us glimpse the mountaintops beyond the flood.
