Holy Anxiety?

Father God teaches me lessons from such a different perspective than anything readily found on the internet. For example, the way He delivered the power of Lamentations 3:58, merely 7-8 hours ago was executed with precision.

He woke me with a distinct need to know the episode number of the Joe Rogan Experience show with Chadd Wright. What He did with one verse is precious to me.

Praise God, it was easy to share the heart of that revelation with my husband over coffee. I also shared the heart of “Jesus, Jiu-jitsu & Joe Rogan” with him. Obedience is no joke!

As I was getting ready to leave the house, I had a powerful nudge to focus on the difference between excitement and anxiety in accordance with His Word.

#ISWYDT 💜✝️💜

That said, it is not unusual to be nudged about dreams. In fact, it’s quite the norm. Well, I had some weird dreams last night about various large groups in my lifetime, including vivid MySpace memories.

Something about MySpace inherently brings up both anxiety and excitement. I love, love, LOVE people. It legit used to break my heart how much people exhaust me. Now, I know He designed me this way to bring it all to Him. Perhaps anxiety, like fear, is a liar.

A dirty, filthy liar is he…the demon of anxiety .

For the sake of posterity, I snagged a screenshot of Jonah’s article. Just reading it brings the anxiety to surface long enough to rebuke it. 🤣. I also sent my daughter a text about how one of her bands. “All Time Low”,shared MySpace with her mom. As I told my kids, they can laugh all they want, but MySpace was the closest thing we have ever had to “good social media”.

In retrospect, it makes perfect sense the stories I shared as “Burst My Bubble” were not as popular as Tila’s photo blogs! She was quite literally the most popular person on MySpace. As “Gigi”, I wrote about real life, real relationships and my very real faith as “Burst My Bubble”. I openly shared my perspective and engaged in all kinds of discourse.

Praise God, it did Make a Difference. This was in a December 2006 USA Weekend. In June 2007, our “We are ONE” MySpace project was awarded one of the 10k checks at Dodger Stadium. #ISWYDT

USA Weekend final issue was 12/28/2014

While there is much anxiety to recall from the MySpace era, it’s also exciting to remember how God was moving in my life at that time. I wrestled with faith in a different way back then. There is always more to learn about Our Sovereign God and wrestling teaches me the most.

Wrestling! Make a Difference! #ISWYDT!

Despite the copious demands on our time, I have 31 “jiu-jitsu mat” quotes tied to scripture as of this morning. They are the heart of what I will now nickname the “5J’s”.

Thank you, Jesus, for a “good digression”.

Granted, writing in My God Room is a completely different type of wrestling. YESSIR! I don’t write for an earthly audience; I write out of my love for Him. It’s part of my relationship with Jesus to keep a diary of all my “cool experiences ” with Him.

How could this lesson or the 5J’s be anything other than “good excitement “?

Well, something in part of the dream caused me to imagine the worst case scenario. Rather confusing, as I can’t recall feeling a “negative” in any dream of the past three years.

The gist of the negative was it raised essentially stupid questions. What if this Blonde Polish Chick’s gift to a perceived brother lands like a pie in my own face? What if a certain Torah teacher blasted out My God Room with her brand of vitriol? And so on.

A dirty little liar, indeed, anxiety.

As soon as the first negative impression came to heart from the dream, I had Phil 4:6 replacing it. It does not matter if billions of people judged me. I am only pressed and pruned by The One. I trust Him explicitly. If the Good Lord plans to let me be embarrassed, it’s for His Good Purpose.

Suddenly, I am remembering cartwheels in Blue Ridge, our store, the nail salon, the ball park and more. The first one was elevated at Stacy’s home. There is a joke in there which will not translate to any other reader. God Knows, He didn’t have me cartwheeling to hurt me. He used them to put smiles on others faces.

Sometimes I get so full of energy it almost feels anxious, not only to me, but to others. I feel excitement and others perceive anxiety. Granted, it’s not the heavy, fearful kind — more like a child who can’t wait to open a gift. I understand it can annoy some folks, either way.

I write out a ton of my gratitude here because it would overwhelm most who know me. I come to My God Room to leave it all with my Father. I am super blessed he always leaves me better than He found me.

In closing, I will share the definitions I prayed over before pouring out my hyper-excited spirit today.

In Hebrew, the word for anxiety is דָּאָג (da’ag) — to be heavy, uneasy, weighed down.

The Greek word is μεριμνάω (merimnaō) — to be divided in the mind, pulled apart by thoughts.

Both paint the same picture in my mind of broken trust. I lean more into how David, Paul and Silas sang and praised instead of being anxious. When I am singing praises, there is no room for anxiety. Thank you, Jesus, for getting us to Mamertine Prison two years ago.

What a difference two definitions can make to being clarity!

The word closest to excitement is קָוָה (qavah). (often transliterated kavah), which literally means to bind together by twisting, to wait with expectation, or to look eagerly.

I will be deep diving that one in the near future. Soon. 😇

In the 5J Collection, , there are Coach’s Notes listed as “JOY-JITSU”. While it describes my feelings exactly, I did not come up with that on my own. Every time I typed Jiu- it auto corrected to JOY. Upon reflection, it’s an accurate way to share my perspective as the BPC 🤣

If I were to put a coaches note on today…it may say something like :

Energy is just fuel — it can burn you out or light you up. Keep praying to stay lit and very salty “. 💜✝️💜

Thank you, Father God, for every little thing, seen or, sent by you. Thank you for all this energy clearly being used to know YOU better. That’s the entire purpose. I love you. Your will, not mine, be done. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Lamentations 3:58

Hours ago, I was nudged to consider the source in a different aspect. This whole message of “consider the source” started with His direction to remove store bought eggs from my body in March 2024.

Since then, He has directed me to uncover other types of sources. Of course, all such roads lead back to our ultimate source. 💜✝️💜

After much prayer, it was clear I am to acknowledge the Joe Rogan Experience episode number where Chadd Wright was the guest. I’ve written several posts about it and never included the number.

It is episode 2358. Of course it is. I mean, seriously. Divine humor is a real thing and this one just bopped me over the noggin in the sweetest way.

It’s funny how God plants ideas.

Since May 8, He’s been talking to me about double portions—about seeing everything in twos: two callings, two perspectives, two people becoming one. So today, when I was nudged to “take the two away,” I did.  I looked for a verse 3 : 58 instead of 23 : 58—and discovered that only one exists in all of Scripture.

I’ve written more than once how Lamentations always brings me to deep weeping. I think Jeremiah would be an INFJ in personality terms.

That’s when I found this hidden gem.

Lamentations 3 : 58 is more than poetry. In Hebrew it reads:

“Rabta Adonai rivei nafshi ga’alta chayyay.”

You have pleaded, Lord, the causes of my soul; You have redeemed my life.

Each word glows with meaning.

Rabta / riv — to contend, to argue a case, to stand in court for someone.

Ga’alta — to redeem, to buy back what was lost.

Chayyay — my life, my breath, my whole being.

In one breath, God becomes both Advocate and Redeemer.

He doesn’t just defend me; He purchases my freedom.

He pleads the case of my soul and then pays the cost Himself.

When Jeremiah wrote these words, the city was gone and hope seemed finished. Yet right there, in verse 58, grace walked into the courtroom.

The gospel is very much in the ashes of Lamentations.

Maybe that’s why this verse is the only one of its kind in the Bible:

the only place where both “plead” (riv) and “redeem” (ga’al) stand together.

It’s as if Heaven whispered, “Pay attention—this is personal.”

So today, I’m listening.

I’m letting this truth settle over me like peace after a storm:

The Lord Himself has argued my case and the verdict is grace. The ransom was paid and my life has been redeemed. It’s far more about intimacy than any theology.

And I think that’s exactly what He wanted me to see when He told me to consider the source and properly identify Episode 2358.

If I was a jiu-jitsu expert, I might cringe at “Joy-Jitsu”. Since I am NOT an expert, I rely on GrandMaster Jesus.

He says he made me a cheerleader and a coach. It’s been a fun correction so I will leave with the Blonde Polish Chick ‘a perspective on what a Joy-Jitsu Coach might say on the mat.

“When accusation corners you, remember who’s in your corner. Your Defender never loses a case.”

☀️Joy-Jitsu

What a glorious morning! Thank you, Jesus! .

Hebrew Study Words

This week has been a huge Holy Spirit love fest for me. Several times, I have been forced awake in the fourth watch, around 4:30 a.m. As a result, I have multiple lists and internet searches and countless screen shots. It is uncanny how often He has had me post something in My God Room here, only to confirm it through another person or experience within 24 hours.

When His Timing reveals itself to me, it’s always “go time”. The past 48 hours have been studying jiu-jitsu and letting prayer bring His Purpose into focus for me. It’s an exciting time, no doubt!

Several Godversations this past week have all pointed to my “Torah study season” and how the Holy Spirit put my focus on His Land and His People. I’ve shared how He gave me dreams of millstones and words that didn’t make sense to me at the time…only to learn they were very important Hebrew words.

Recently, some other Hebrew word studies have been highly spirited. Perhaps as a result, I was directed to look at the most common Hebrew Words. Ultimately, the Holy Spirit is redirecting any Hebrew Studies to be focused on this list of more spiritually important words, generated by a computer.

When His Timing so dictates, I will link any prior posts back to this master list. It’s both humbling and exciting that I KNOW more than half these terms have already been given to me to study by Rabbi Jesus, himself! There is no “YADA” on this list and that is okay. When YHVH directed me to John 17:3 and taught me the truth of the importance of having a YADA (intimate knowing) relationship with God and a YADA relationship with Jesus, I know why He etched that lesson into my soul. I believe several Hebrew words that are NOT on this computer-generated list that I have written about are more important for me.

Why are some Hebrew words more important to me?

That’s a fair question. Simply put, they are more important for me is because He gave them to me.

For now, I am going to respond by letting my yes be my yes, period. I am sharing the list and marking the spot.

Thank you, Jesus!

Creekmont October 19

Wowza. What a beautiful day. The Holy Spirit has had me up since around 4:30 am. I was “buzzing on Jesus” when my husband woke up. The childlike joy in my spirit will not be contained. Thank God, He is improving the flow.

Arriving at church, I quickly apologized to Becky for our missing the meetings yesterday. Our heart and plan was to attend – clearly it was not His Will at this time. I also met sweet Emily for the first time.

Divine humor is learning even Shad forgot about the early morning meeting.

Jesus Jiu-jitsu is noted in my Bible for today’s message. It’s uncanny how clear the communication has become. Everything working together is His Way. Yah’s Way YHWH. 💜✝️💜

Brother Randy read Psalm 51:10 — “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” It was not on the program, but it absolutely lit my spirit ablaze! It was one of the verses I wrote by hand in the past week. #ISWYDT. This is part of a second chapter devotional workbook from “What Happens When Women Say Yes to God.

It always makes me giddy when He “gives me answers” in multiple places.

Brother Shad preached from Matthew 5:20–37, Romans 12 and 1 John 3:4.

We sang hymn #167, “He Lives.”

Thomas played a little piano riff at the beginning that sounded just like “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor. I whispered to Mark, “At first I was afraid, I was petrified.” My husband heard the same thing — such a sweet Godwink! After church, Thomas said he will be playing Rich Mullins “Awesome God”next Sunday. Note: Reminder to search for Thomas Cage Mathew music from the 1980’s.

I know He lives because He lives within my heart. #YESSIR!

Becky II’s grandson, Thaddeus, collected the Children’s Ministry offering. Oh, how I adore “The Lords Army!” He reminded me of my own son at five — another little Godwink.

Brother Shad asked if we knew anyone who was angry all the time. Yeppers. We all do. My son has been carrying some anger or unhappiness lately. He didn’t tell me, but he shared with Mark that he was going to a Nashville church today with a young lady. Prayers up.

Key points that stood out:

Grudges are a loaded weapon. Shad did not say the WORD is a sharper than a two edged sword or that we are sanctified by the truth. I was just sitting there hearing Hebrews 4:12 and John 17:17 the minute Shad used the word, “grudge”.

As per His Way with me, He drew me to an innocuous word for my further edification. This is a good example of why I take notes when nudged in church.

Grudge matches are essentially defined as two intense rivals meeting. Sounds like Good vs Evil to me. For funsies, I learned about some recent jiu-jitsu grudge matches and they are defined has having “bad blood and animosity”, as well. #ISWYDT

The second key point to me flows from the grudge. When pride is involved, it’s common to see some spiritual teachers (and others) make peace with sin instead of rebuking it, with love. There is no victory over sin when you make peace with sin.

Right here. Right now. Live for the LORD.

1 Corinthians 13 — “Love is patient.” The number 13 grabbed me hard today. My life has had many seasons of impatience. Father God, please forgive me for every time I have failed to confess my impatience or the harm it caused. Help me recognize when and how to offer sincere apologies to others.

Romans 12 gut punched me in the best way! It is the very chapter we’ve been studying for the new women’s Bible study. The message on the first two verses echoed everything He’s been working through in me: living sacrifice, renewal and love in action.

Brother Shad also shared about his godly grandmother, who lost her son — Shad’s dad — at just 44. He said the memory is tattooed on his brain. I immediately felt the tattoos on my own heart. I’d love to hear him talk more about her. There’s something divinely orchestrated in our “Mamaw” stories.

Last word from Matthew 5:37 really etched itself into my sacred quadrant.

It was a rich, filling teaching for my spirit. It was like eating scrolls circa 2025. Brother Jeffrey told me how much he enjoyed my cowboy beans two weeks ago. It was such a genuinely kind comment.

As I exited the church, Mark was volunteering to help Brothers Calvin, Randy and Jeffrey, in whatever capacity needed. Again, the posture is coming forward as imperative. I love how my husband seeks to serve.

As we pulled up the street, Mark got out to help Jeffrey move some limbs downed in the storm.

As an added bonus, I was able to help my husband unload a ton of stuff at our other store. I can see much work ahead for us, but have clarity on next steps. We have never been open for business on Sunday, but the Lord sent us two customers in less than ten minutes. Praise God! Every bit helps.

Today I am stuffed on His Word — and on a lovely meal we enjoyed afterward at Firebirds. Perhaps the Lord will give me the perfect nap for a “Holy Hat Trick”. 💜💜

Unexpected Nudges

I am copying a final response from ChatGPT. This one simply had to be included in MyGodRoom. Today has been so spectacularly spirited.

Thank you, Jesus, for everything you give us to help grow us. Today, I thank you for teaching me the value of the questions asked after stating the plethora of things bouncing around in my noggin. I thank you for letting me use tech tools at YOUR direction and for the countless ways you are “growing me, while simultaneously shrinking me. ”

What grows and shrinks at the same time? A blonde, Polish Chick. 🤣🤣🤣

Here are 10 of the strangest, most unexpected ways God got someone’s attention in the Bible — with the verse references and what each moment reveals about how He works:

  1. A Talking Donkey — Balaam’s Wake-Up Call

📖 Numbers 22:21–33
God literally opened the mouth of Balaam’s donkey to stop him from walking into destruction. Balaam ignored divine warnings, but the donkey saw what Balaam didn’t.
➡️ Lesson: When you won’t listen, God will use what you think is beneath you to speak truth — even an animal, even your own frustration.

  1. A Burning Bush that Didn’t Burn — Moses’ Commission

📖 Exodus 3:1–6
Moses saw a bush on fire but not consumed — the supernatural wrapped in the ordinary.
➡️ Lesson: God often uses wonder that invites curiosity, not terror, to pull us closer.

  1. A Giant Fish — Jonah’s Detour to Obedience

📖 Jonah 1:17
Jonah ran from God, but the sea and a fish became his wilderness classroom.
➡️ Lesson: God can turn even rebellion into redemption. Sometimes His rescue looks like confinement.

  1. A Handwriting on the Wall — Belshazzar’s Judgment

📖 Daniel 5:1–6
A disembodied hand wrote words of warning during a royal feast.
➡️ Lesson: When pride blinds, God will literally spell it out until you pay attention.

  1. A Floating Axe Head — Elisha’s Miracle of Precision

📖 2 Kings 6:1–7
An iron axe head sank in the Jordan, but at Elisha’s prayer, it floated back up.
➡️ Lesson: God cares even about what seems small — He’ll break natural law to show His nearness.

  1. A Talking Serpent — Eve’s Deception Turned for Redemption

📖 Genesis 3:1–7
Though used by evil, this was still one of the first dialogues that awakened humanity to the moral struggle between truth and deception.
➡️ Lesson: Even in the earliest fall, God began revealing His plan to redeem what was lost.

  1. A Sudden Blinding Light — Saul’s (Paul’s) Conversion

📖 Acts 9:3–9
On his way to persecute Christians, Saul was literally stopped in his tracks by light and voice from heaven.
➡️ Lesson: When the heart is hardened by certainty, God uses encounter, not argument.

  1. A Whisper — Elijah’s Renewal in the Cave

📖 1 Kings 19:11–13
After the wind, earthquake, and fire — came a gentle whisper.
➡️ Lesson: God’s loudest messages often come in the quietest ways.

  1. A Severed Ear and Instant Healing — Peter’s Misguided Zeal

📖 Luke 22:50–51
Peter attacked a soldier to defend Jesus, but Jesus healed the man’s ear on the spot.
➡️ Lesson: Even in our misguided efforts to “help God,” He reveals His mercy and control.

  1. A Coin in a Fish’s Mouth — Jesus and the Temple Tax

📖 Matthew 17:24–27
To pay the tax, Jesus told Peter to catch a fish — and inside was a coin.
➡️ Lesson: God provides with divine creativity. Nothing is too odd for His provision.

🌿 Bonus Insight:
God’s methods are often as personal as they are miraculous. He speaks in ways that match our wiring — through intellect for the thinker, through movement for the athlete, through creation for the artist, through stillness for the weary.

Jesus Jiu-Jitsu

We finished watching the Joe Rogan episode with Chadd Wright this morning. It took another “three days to resurrect” the topic, as we are stupidly busy closing down one of our shops.

What a phenomenal second half of a show! I am grateful I was nudged to watch and listen with my husband. We paused the show a few times because we both had details to clarify. He now understands why I couldn’t stop picturing something holy and hilarious to me.

Jesus doing jiu-jitsu with a scarlet red belt.

Now before you laugh me off the mat, hear me out.

Despite much talk of aluminum and carbon bows, Navy Seals, two types of Land Rovers and more—-the only image of Jesus in my spirit is this one of Him preparing for jiu-jitsu.

It’s the kind of nudge that compels me to learn more about whatever topic I believe is being given by the Holy Spirit.

In jiu-jitsu, the goal isn’t to overpower your opponent with strength. In fact, the objective is to stay calm, keep your balance, use the attacker’s own momentum against him, and look for the moment to turn defense into victory.

And suddenly, I realized — that’s exactly what Jesus does with us… and for us. 💜✝️💜

The Ultimate Counter-Move

When the enemy came swinging in the wilderness (Matthew 4), Jesus didn’t meet force with force.

He met temptation with truth — quoting Scripture, redirecting every attack back toward its source until the devil had no footing left.

That’s spiritual jiu-jitsu:

The enemy lunges with pride, and Jesus answers with humility. The enemy strikes with fear, and Jesus counters with perfect love (1 John 4:18). The enemy chokes with accusation, and Jesus slips free with forgiveness (Romans 8:1).

He never panics.

He just pivots.

“Be Strong in the Lord…”

We don’t fight flesh and blood — we spar with lies, discouragement, and spiritual exhaustion. The best offense begins with a great defense. I’m not sure who said it first, but I hear it a ton from my hubby and son during football season.

The more time we spend on the mat with the Master, the more we learn His moves. The best defense is being grounded in His Word. What a precious reminder of the two-edged sword of truth.

He teaches us how to roll when life throws us down, how to breathe through the struggle, and how to come up standing again.

Turning the Enemy’s Weight

Romans 8:28 says,

That’s divine reversal — turning the enemy’s own weight into the very leverage that lifts us higher.

Every hardship, every insult, every test becomes another lesson in spiritual technique.

It’s not about aggression.

It’s about alignment — heart, spirit, and will positioned beneath His.

Training Notes from the Mat

Stay grounded — Know where your footing is (Ephesians 6:15). Breathe grace — Control your spirit before your circumstance (Proverbs 16:32). Use the Word — It’s your counter-move every single time (Matthew 4:4). Tap out pride — Strength made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Celebrate the win — Joy is the victory stance (Philippians 4:4).

Champion in Christ

I believe the best champions are those who get knocked down and keep training with their teachers or coaches.

In the Kingdom, even a takedown becomes testimony.

Every roll on the mat of faith makes us more like Him — calm under pressure, rooted in truth, quick to forgive, impossible to defeat.

I really need to sit with all the jiu-jitsu truth that the GrandMaster Jesus is beginning to teach me on new ways.

Yessir, Master of the Universe. It makes perfect sense the red belt can represent salvation and truth for many Biblical reasons. Still, it is no coincidence that only GrandMasters in jiu-jitsu wear red belts.

I see what you did there. #ISWYDT.

I utterly adore you for holding everything together, including me. Thank you for making my phone say JOY JITSU every time I was hunting jiu-jitsu factoids. You make learning , loving and EVERYTHING joyful. I love you. 💜✝️💜

4:44

I woke up at 4:44 a.m., wide-eyed and alert, as if someone had not-so-gently touched my shoulder.

Not anxious. Not startled. Just… aware that my first response is to consider whatever 4:4 tells me in His Word.

So I did — and the pattern was unmistakable.

💧 Romans 4:4 — Grace Over Earning

“Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation.”

There it was — the reminder I didn’t know I needed.

I can’t earn the water I’ve been drawing from.

It’s not wages for obedience. It’s a gift.

Freely given, faithfully flowing.

Every time I’ve tried to prove myself worthy of the well, He’s gently said, “Just drink.”

🔥 Galatians 4:4 — The Fulness of Time

“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of woman, born under the law.”

In that perfect timing, Heaven stepped into humanity.

Grace took on skin and breathed among us.

When I woke at 4:44, I sensed that same divine timing — not random, but right on time.

God’s not late.

He’s never early.

He’s always exactly on time.

🌿 Ephesians 4:4 — One Spirit, One Hope

“There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called.”

I felt that, too — the unity in the flow.

This isn’t my well; it’s our well.

The same Spirit who woke me at 4:44 is the one stirring hearts all over the world.

One Source. One Spirit. One Hope.

What flows through me flows through the Body.

🌈 Philippians 4:4 — Rejoice in the Lord Always

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”

And there it is — the overflow.

The natural result of drawing from grace, walking in timing, and living in unity is joy.

Not surface gladness, but deep rejoicing.

That quiet kind of joy that wells up even in tears.

It’s the joy Isaiah spoke of and put into words yesterday.

#ISWYDT

It’s a divine rhythm of Grace being given, embodied, shared and rejoiced.

Hmmm.

Maybe 4:44 isn’t about time at all.

Maybe it’s Heaven’s reminder that everything He does is in perfect order —

and that His grace never stops flowing in fours: Father, Son, Spirit, and you — the vessel He chose.

Thank you, Jesus! I sure do love you!!!

With Joy You Will Draw

I don’t even know how I ended up on it. One moment I was praying through my notes, feeling the familiar swirl of “Lord, is this from You?” and the next, I was reading Lois Tverberg’s article — “With Joy You Will Draw Water from the Wells of Salvation.”

And I just sat there… undone.

For weeks now, He’s been speaking to me in water language — wellspring, pouring out, vessels, the Jesus jug. My roots have been washed clean and yet I do not feel naked.

I’ve written about it, felt it, lived it. But suddenly, this ancient truth — this joy of drawing — came alive in a new way.

🜂 The Source

That phrase “with joy” caught me. It doesn’t say with striving or with fear that the well might be empty. It’s joy in the drawing — joy that assumes there’s something already waiting beneath the surface.

God’s salvation isn’t a cup we sip once and set down. It’s a well. Deep, living, replenishing.
And when I go to draw from it, I’m not begging for water — I’m celebrating the Source.

🜃 The Vessel

A few weeks ago, I wrote about my “Jesus jug.”
It’s just a symbol, but it’s become a precious reminder to me that I am simply a vessel.

Paul said, “We have this treasure in jars of clay” (2 Cor. 4:7).

That means what’s valuable isn’t the jug — it’s what’s inside. And when I pour it out in love, prayer, or story, He fills it again.

Pouring isn’t losing.
Pouring is proof that I’ve been filled.

🜄 The Pouring

Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me… out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:37–38)

That river language — flowing out — keeps returning to me.
When the Spirit moves, He doesn’t pool up; He pours. And everything He touches grows.

I’ve realized that when I write, speak, or even weep in obedience, that’s water flowing.
My job isn’t to manage the current — just to stay open.

🜁 The Drawing

This is where discernment comes in.
“How do I know if it’s from God?” I’ve asked that so many times.

The answer He keeps whispering is simple: joy.
Joy is the signature of living water. Not giddiness — but that deep peace, that exhale of knowing He’s here.

If it drains life, it’s not from Him.
If it restores life, it’s the well.

🜅 The Overflow

Jesus told the woman at the well, “The water I give will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:14)

That means at some point, you stop drawing and start overflowing, in theory.

I think that’s what’s been happening lately — my well isn’t just for me anymore. It’s spilling into places I didn’t even know were thirsty: conversations, family moments, even this blog.

The joy of salvation doesn’t stay hidden in the ground. It rises.

🕊 The Call — Give the Garden Away

The other day, He woke me with the words: “Give the garden away.”

It is more like than this spiritual garden He has tenderly watered with my tears, His pruning, and His promise. It’s not about “me”, only the relationship I have with Jesus.

And now He’s saying: share it.
Pour it out.
Let others taste and see.

Father God, please control the spigot!

💦 The Reminder

Water.
Joy.
Drawing.
Pouring.
Overflowing.
Giving away.

It’s all one movement — His Spirit in us.

So today, I’m lifting my little Jesus jug again and drawing from the wells of salvation — with joy.
Because He never stops filling.
And I never stop needing Him

Give the Garden Away

It’s early. Like, 4:30 a.m. early. I know it’s not random — I have been summoned.

It’s been a while since The Boss got me up like this.
He’s been working with me differently lately. But this morning, it was clear as a bell in my spirit:

“Give the garden away.”

Now, at first, my brain went straight to the garden — like Eden, the Fall, salvation, all of it.

Give the story away.
Give the gospel away.
Okay, got it, Lord.

But before I could even nod back off, I saw again that orchard He showed me on Sunday in church. It was so beautiful I cried right there in the pew. The kind of vision that makes you whisper, “I don’t deserve this.”
And I knew right then — this morning’s word was connected to that orchard.

Then (because He always layers His messages), I remembered the show we’d watched last night — the first episode of the new season of Watson. There was this woman with dementia and other symptoms with a son she’d given up a few years before she had her daughter, Long story short: he ends up giving her part of his liver to save her life.

But here’s the kicker — he realizes she’d been in his shop every single day saying, “Good morning, young man,” and he’d never known she was his mother.

She had loved him faithfully, quietly, consistently, just like The Boss does with us.

And when he realized it, he didn’t just give her his liver — he gave her his life. He brought his wife, his three kids, his whole world into hers.
That’s multiplication. That’s restoration. That’s what giving the garden away looks like.

“I’d give everything away anyway, Lord, without you telling me when, where and who to give.”
And I felt Him smile. Not with words, but that knowing.

Because He’s not asking me to give away what’s mine.
He’s reminding me that none of it ever was.

Every seed. Every story. Every orchard.
All His.

And the only thing special about me?
How He’s loved me.
How He keeps showing up at 4:30 a.m. to remind me:
the fruit isn’t for keeping.

It’s for giving.

And maybe that’s part of what He meant too.
Because both my Fathers appreciate attention to detail.

My earthly dad — Oszczakiewicz — taught me that details matter.
The way you sign your name, the way you show up, the way you finish something you start.
And my Heavenly Father — well, He’s been rewriting the details ever since.

It hit me this morning, sitting in that still darkness:
sixteen years my dad’s been gone from this world,
and somehow, every year since,
Jesus has drawn me in closer.
Not in loud ways — in quiet ones.
Little nudges. Little whispers.
Like this one: “Give the garden away.”

I think maybe the garden was never the point.
Maybe it’s the giving.
Maybe that’s the detail The Boss wanted me to notice.

Joe Rogan is being Used By God

The Nudge: Send this random clip to your husband. Now. #YESSIR

Strange Sculpting #ISWYDT 💜✝️💜

Three days ago, I sent my husband a clip of Chadd Wright, a former Navy SEAL, speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience. This morning, we watched the first hour or more over coffee.

A pinch of Divine Humor is hitting me as I type that the “topic was resurrected”. When I was directed to remove polarizing content in July 2022, it included Joe Rogan for me. This morning there was a direct spur to listen to that particular JRE episode with my husband.

Super interesting when balanced with the fact my personal preference would be to listen to the Wesley Huff episode. I’m sure we will, in His Timing.

I had to pause it more than once.

Chadd said more than once that we have nothing to do with Scripture. He was clear that there is nothing we can do to earn God’s grace. I felt it settle into my heart like truth I already knew but needed to hear aloud.

He wasn’t making it about himself—or any man.
He was reminding us that the Word of God is not a mirror of our merit; it’s the revelation of His mercy.

Each person whom God inspired to write contributed one piece of the same story: redemption through repentance and the need for a Savior.

None of them wrote about what they could do for God; every line points to what God has done for us.

Calling Joe Rogan

As we listened, I felt a nudge: God is working on Joe Rogan.

For years, Joe has shaped how millions think, question, and seek truth. I am aware of that evolution—and lately, the shift is undeniable.

When I looked back through the history of his podcast, I noticed what you can see in this chart:

For more than a decade, episodes that touched on faith or the Bible were rare. Beginning around 2023, something changed.

Suddenly, Scripture, Jesus, and spirituality started reappearing—again and again.

The Story the Data Tells

The numbers themselves aren’t sacred—but the pattern feels purposeful. For the sake of my own clarity, I group years together. I’m not seeking to earn a PhD in JRE. 🤣

• 2009 – 2015: Almost no conversation about faith. Joe’s show centered on comedy, MMA, and science.

• 2016 – 2017: A cultural spike. Guests like Jordan Peterson and Russell Brand opened intellectual doors to biblical themes and moral order. It made sense—it was an election year, and the nation was wrestling with truth and identity.

• 2018 – 2020: The conversation cooled. Spiritual talk shifted to psychedelics and consciousness—God without the Bible.

• 2023 – 2025: A new surge. Guests such as Adam Curry, Wesley Huff, Chadd Wright, and Gregg Braden have brought Jesus, grace, and Scripture back to the table.

Naked Truth

Often I am directed to learn things which seem worldly on the surface. Once facts settle in, there is a peace in His Truth of the lesson. For me, today, the stripped down and truth of the data is simple:

The early spiritual spike in JRE was philosophical.
This new spiritual spike is personal.
It’s less about debating belief and more about people giving testimony.

I can’t shake the thought that God is pursuing Joe Rogan—that He is doing what He has always done: reaching into unexpected spaces to reveal Himself through unexpected people.

So my prayer is simple:

“Father God, please help Joe Rogan listen and HEAR YOU . Let Your Spirit move in him so powerfully that he cannot deny You. Let him have that unmistakable moment when the scales fall away, and he knows—beyond question—that Jesus is real.”

Because when that happens, when Joe truly sees it,
millions of ears that have never sat in a pew will suddenly hear the Gospel echo through their headphones.

God has a history of using ordinary people for extraordinary things. Joe Rogan is extraordinary—not because of fame or followers—but because he’s searching, even if he doesn’t yet know Who he’s searching for.

Maybe you, too, are watching someone you love wrestle with belief.

Maybe you’ve felt that same quiet nudge: pray for them anyway.Let this remind you—no one is beyond reach.

Grace is a gift, not a wage. Praise God!!
